Speaking of missing my sister... I have a great job possibility in SF YAY!!!! I have a phone interview and then they want me to come up to interview in person!! I'm soooo excited that would be soooo awesome I miss the bay soooo much and I would be soooo close to my little sister and the job is perfect for me, at an ad agency and good pay! I also have my audition on Sat, so for some reason good things are coming my way right now! Now I just have to sell myself ;) I'm ready to give my notice right now, that's how confident I am! Ha haa, well almost ;) I did this layout about my sister leaving, it would be soooo GREAT to live so close to her! Ok I have to calm down, don't have the job yet but I will keep everyone posted!

Dance Dance Revolution!

I watched some of that so you think you can dance show, yes embarrassing (I was working while I watched) it was scary. I would say out of the 50 dancers they have chosen they have maybe at most 25 good ones. I don't think many real dancers tried out for the show, it wouldn't have been very challenging for them. The few I saw that were really good were soooo far above the other dancers; I don't know it doesn't seem equal to Idol. Since I started dancing when I was 5 I can't help but be curios! But it reminded me of our recent trip to Park City, Utah because Zahra, Farrah and I were witness to some of the WORST white boy dancing I have EVER seen in my life! It was truly unbelievable how bad it was, I was in shock and these guys thought they were awesome (granted they had very little competition) but damn, it was a sight! I don't know maybe it's cool to dance like an idiot with no rhythm in Utah, I don't know but I feared for my safety and the safety of my girlfriends at many times during the evening! At one point a Brazilian (now here is a boy who SHOULD have had rhythm) actually tripped on his own feet while dancing with Farrah and knocked her down flat on her back on the floor whilst he spilled his beer all over her! I nearly peed myself I was laughing so hard but what a moron!! He then ran away faster than he butt saddled her in the first place! Boys if you are going to aggressively try and dance with a woman for the love of god at least be able to dance and please try to abide by the following guidelines...

It was Great to see him at the con, he is such a cool person and way talented! I think both me and my sister gathered massive amounts of inspiration as planned at the comic con (you just have to know where to look) a talent I have from ack! 10 years of con going. Damn I am a dork!!!

I have an Audition!!!

This is soooo cool!!!! I have never been on an audition before, luckily it's been so freaking hot in San Diego I have dropped 5 pounds since the Con!! I'm melting!!!!!! I wish I had air conditioning!! I figured out that heat is the weightloss secret, Z is in DC & that's how she is staying so skinny & Italian women, it's not the walking it's the HEAT!!!! It's going to be next weekend, in Long Beach, it should be interesting!!!! YAY!!!

Yes this is revealing my levels of dorkness, but I did work on this mini-comic and I am proud of it! It was a lot of fun and I've been going to the San Diego comic con since I was 18 years old! That year I actually lied and said I was 16 so as to get the discounted rate, they fell for it too!!! That was before we started to get pro badges and the booth passes.

Reality TV comes to Scrapbooking!!!

OK, I know I promised some more awesome art from the comic con but believe it or not there are auditions going on for a new reality TV show about SCRAPBOOKING!! New BLOG Site!

This is my new blog, I'm still working out some design stuff, some of the code is not cooperating but I have a lot more control at this site than at blogger. All my old posts have been imported! So I have been busy I finished a big project a 56-page 8x8 mini scrapbook, completely digital for a friend, am going to start submitting it. Went to Park City Utah for a friends wedding, which was beautiful and am just recovering from the San Diego Comic Con, Disneyland & house guests! I am continuing my research into my possible future careers, still confused as ever about it, I wish I just knew what I was meant to do or what would make me happiest, it would be a lot easier! I am also very jealous of one of my best friends Zahra who is knee deep in meaningful work for the AIDS epidemic in Africa, my job is about as meaningful as... tough to say really. Just finished the 6th Harry Potter book, can't believe I will have to wait for the final installment but am inspired to start writing some of my ideas for children's books. My sister was here & has left leaving me quite sad as usual, I have lots to be happy about but I seem to go through withdrawal after every visit with her, eventually I get back to normal, used to being without her but it's a tough adjustment! I'll be posting some of the amazing, awesome & inspiring pieces acquired by myself & my sister at the con, some by GREAT friends! It was wonderful to see all the people I haven't seen in a long time at the Con & what they are up to! I also got to see a preview of Tim Burton's the Corpse Bride which was awesome! This piece is an AWESOME sketch I commissioned from Tommy Lee Edwards an artist whose talent is beyond words & he is also just a great guy!
