Big FREAKING News!!!!!!

Well I thought I would have to wait until after I returned from Las Vegas to spill the beans but it looks like I get to share a little bit early!!!!!

I honestly am honored, shocked, flattered and amazed that I am a part of the Creative Board for Simple Scrapbooks new all Digital Publication!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

It seems a bit unreal especially after seeing all the amazingly talented ladies I will be working with, I'm not sure how exactly my name got on there but I couldn't be happier that it did!!!  This really, truly is a dream come true for me!!!!  Wow!!!  Saying it out loud makes it real!!!!  I'm not going to mention the others yet but they are spreading the word as I type this.  More to come on this soon I promise.  Now off to Vegas for Bridesmaid duties.  Wooooooohoooooooooo!!!!!! YAY!!!!  Ciao!!!!

Major Awesomeness in Progress...

OK so yes I have been MIA for weeks, my only excuse is life taking over, a mass of social obligations that have impeded my ability to blog.  Mostly because I haven't been home much at all, then I got sick, I have been having some other health problems and now because I am about to embark on a Crazy Bachelorette Party Weekend in Vegas for my Best Friend Dennise.  I'm organizing it which calls for lots of shopping trips and last minute details.  I'm hoping to be back to normal starting next week, because to be honest I'm totally exhausted!  Dennise's wedding is fast approaching though and there is sooooo much to be done!!!  Anyway in other news there have been some extremely exciting developments for me professionally in regards to Digital Scrapbooking.  I wish I could talk about it but you will have to wait a bit longer, let me just say it's pretty effing Rocki'n!!!!!  I have missed my Self Portrait Challenges and have a massive "pile" of photos on my computer desktop just aching to be scrapped!!!!  I will also be moving the end of October soon after Dennise's wedding so the excitement never ends people!!!! ;)  Anyway just a quick update, miss you all, I promise to return and actually get back to posting!!!!  Ciao!

For Shame, For Shame...

I know, I know, you thought I had abandoned you my loyal blog readers (all 5 of you)!!!  Alas I have no good excuse for taking such a long hiatus other than life got in my way! I have a string of photos from my various non blogging activities sitting in my camera, lots of little tidbits to share and yet have not been able to find my way back to my beloved blog in weeks! In truth part of my newly elevated hectic lifestyle is due in part to the looming departure of my beloved friend Jennifer. She will be leaving me and the intoxicating City of San Francisco a month earlier than expected due to her knee requiring surgery. Not only has this hastened my depression at her loss but forced us to try and cram every activity known to man in her short remaining time here in SF. I have to say it's been fantastic, I have been able to and am planning to do so many fun exciting things but I have also hardly been at home and thus unable to download the photos or update my blog.  Well not so much unable as too exhausted during the infrequent time I am at home to do so. I feel so very lucky to have met Jennifer though and to have been able to spend as much time with her as I have! It's so funny how you can forge a friendship with someone so unexpectedly and they so quickly and easily become such an important part of your life.  Sigh... I am going to miss her dearly!

I plan to actually download the pictures from my camera tonight and post some fun pics of us enjoying activities in SF. I will be getting back on blogging track even with Jennifer's impending departure :( It's almost Friday and almost the weekend, enjoy it! Ciao!
