I am currently insanely busy, so blogging will probably be very inconsistent for at least another month. After that my life will start to return to normal, still crazy but not to the point of my utter exhaustion ;) I have officially cut myself off from taking on any new projects...haa haa...I have been writing quite a bit lately...but my last additional project is a chapbook project with my amazingly talented friend D.D. which inspired the following letter along with my friends, who inspire my life...
dear friends--
you never cease to surprise me.
you know who you are.
you know who you are not.
you know me.
you know my love for sci-fi,
some of you even share it,
and the rest of you still want to hang
out with me.
you know the best of me,
you know the worst of me and
you love me anyway.
you make me laugh when
life is hard.
you make me cry,
when I least expect it.
you understand my passionate
obsessions with art, writing
and music and tolerate them.
you don't let me walk alone,
late at night.
you know my bed is covered in
books, journals, comics and pens.
you know I'm strange.
you don't even care.
you show me what love is,
every, single, day.
you know being loved is,
foreign to me.
so you teach me patiently.
i try to be a good student.
i can't imagine my life without you.
i don't want to.
