Etsy shop Update...

oh hello...i tried to do this blog yesterday but had some computer issue so it had to wait.  Anyway I just updated my shop with a bunch of fun little affordable items, stationary, cards ACEO art cards!  So check it out at my store dear kiki please!  I will have another update next week with more paintings etc, I'm having a lot of fun playing with different mediums and ideas right now!  I also need to focus on finishing my comic but  anyway i'm sharing some of my favorite pieces and you can see the rest at my shop...i'm planning a fun post for tomorrow this was just a quick update and now back to cleaning and organizing my room which still isn't unpacked and I moved in 2 months ago...who needs to unpack when you can paint??? Martha Stuart i am not....

dear blog...i'm back!

oh hello....
yes yes...i have disappeared but i'm BACK!!! I have lots of updates I have been a very, very busy bee...
first up I opened an etsy.com shop...link to the right and here ...please check it out...I will be updating it this weekend I have a bunch of fun new stuff planned to put in it and plan to finish up my comic book and get it printed in October YAY!!!! Speaking of my comic...Poor Little Dyke Girl...I am doing a reading of my comic next Wed September 24th at Femina Potens Gallery in San Francisco, CA at 8pm!! If you are local please stop by!  um....i have major stage fright and HATE reading...but i make myself do it because it's a good way for people to find out about my work etc. and the last reading went really, really well, everyone laughed so hopefully i will be just as funny this time...also its a back to school themed show so I am also reading a short strip of the comic I wrote in high school when i was 17...so there's that...

I have also had a couple music reviews go up on Wiretap Music and next month is our one year anniversary/CD release party so stay tuned I will be talking about that as well!!! So yes I have been spending my days working 9-6...sometimes longer...and my evenings and weekends painting...writing...designing...and making comics...so i'm tired but its good! Please check out my shop and keep checking it or here for updates and pass it along to anyone you think would dig my work!!

I miss my brother and sister a lot and don't know when I will get to see them next it's been FOREVER but hopefully next month sometime or November at the latest!! I have made some big major life changes...moved...and am planning a new phase in my life...exciting...scary...great...hard...all at the same time. Luckily I have the best friends in the world and they really are my family :) I also am lucky enough to have a bunch of "virtual" friends and colleagues from digital scrapbooking and writing so really I am quite lucky!

Here is one of my favorite new pieces in my etsy.com shop right now...i love it because its so me...silly...funny...hopefully it makes you laugh the same way it makes me laugh...but probably not...cause i crack myself up...this is my life :) i have missed my blog and its GREAT to be back!!!
