I'm celebrating my birfday a day early, having dinner at cafe gratitude with lovely friends then going dancing with them!!!!!!!! YAY!!! I got an awesome haircut from Tara who rocks my world every time @ Zip Zap Hair i <3 her best haircutz EVER!!!!!!!! then my lovely friend Heather did the space agey color @ dekko she also rules sooo much i love my lavender streak :D post more soon!!!

.::Happy Memorial Day::.
I spent a lot of time last week on ME TIME!!! It was a challenging week that called for ME TIME!!! It's also like almost every single dear friends birthday over the next and past couple weeks including MINE!!! My Birfday is thursday :D So I've made lots of special little paintings and taken pictures and last week one of my me time moments was editing and playing with some birthday photos from last week of my loves. I want to share them today. Also I'm going to share my absolute favorite ME TIME activities!!! SOOOO freaking important!!!!!!!!!! I feel so much better, more relaxed and centered!!!
.::1::. taking a dance class or yoga class
.::2::. cleaning my room (i know it doesn't seem like fun but i get relaxed in a clean room)
.::3::. putting fresh sheets on my bed.............mmmmmmmmmmmmm......yum.
.::4::. cutting fresh roses from my yard and putting them around the house.
.::5::. burning candles and incense and meditating and my new little (non religious, non denominational, purely spiritual alter)
.::6::. mani/pedi time
.::7::. buying the most amazing trashy fabulous $10 coral miami fresh pumps EVER from Payless (also vegan of course!!!!!!!) **for my birthday dancing extravaganza wed** (pics to follow)
.::8::. ordering cheeseless pizza for delivery one slice, drawing whatever i want, sketching, journaling, watching stupid movies, taking a nice long hot shower and giving myself a facial (sigh my friday night!!!)
.::9::. listening to new music on-line, making new playlists and sitting in the dark with candles listening to music that moves my soul and makes me feel alive.

sigh............i am so grateful and so blessed to have such AMAZING people in my life...truly.
So I have shop updates coming up, lots of new and exciting things happening. I'm working on a completely new series for my first group show for Homo A Go Go in August and i am SUPER PUMPED about my concept for it!!!!!!!! And SUPER PUMPED to be a part of the show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The comic is almost done and still in the process of being printed........i know it's slow going but it will be worth it.........finished the new cover.........exciting times, exciting new pieces, and I'll be showing 4 pieces at a show at Femina Potens this Friday so if you are local come check it out and buy a piece :D oh it's for the one year anniversary of The Queer Girl Theater Project they used one of my paintings for the flyer! I'm not reading cause i'm just overworked right now but the show will be AWESOME so come check it out for sure if you are in SF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ugh...this has been such a crazy, busy, stressful week for me!! You know what cheered me up yesterday?? A nice little package in the mail from nice package i ordered some bakers twine for my shop and look at the cuteness i received!!!
sooooo cute!!! I love all the personal touches!!! And the packing is simple and so nicely designed and it all goes together perfectly!!!! I made a couple etsy purchases last week so as i get them in the mail i will share! Yay i love supporting fellow etsy sellers/artists/crafters/designers :D

yesterday was errand day...i bough some yummy bread...did laundry...cleaned...organized...bought groceries...attempted to make a yummy sammich...made sammich at cost of slicing my index finger...made long overdue calls...watched the hills...ate the rest of the bag of my new obsession and i'm talking late night craving will walk miles for obsession terra chips i'm not eating as many sweets lately and i ate these again for the first time in awhile as i over did the pirates booty and tings...and my mouth is like in love with them and then i went to the website and started salivating at all the amazing varieties i can't seem to find locally!!!!
yummy i'm just gonna order them online............seriously sooooo freaking good!!!
Then I finished my rain paintings there are 4 and I'll be sharing them here tomorrow :D hope you like em, they were fun!!!
My tooth is MUCH better but I'm told that is just temporary and it will hurt again at some point but hey whatever i'm sooo happy!!! I'm soooo going to be painting teeth now....haa haa...
I'm in this lovely treasury by the insanely talented psarokokalo i am such a fan of her work and i just ordered a necklace from her i can't wait to get it in the mail!!! I'll share here when i do!!! It's soooo freaking awesome!!!

Happy Friday!!! Whooo! this week flew by!!! still so much work so little time!!! But i don't want to think about that right now! I've been thinking about where i can go on a little mini-break holiday for not too much money and that isn't super far...and guess who came to my rescue??? My beloved blog vegansaurus!!! see them in my blogs i <3 section to the right as well!!! I'm going to the Stanford Inn in lovely Mendocino, CA!!! See the blog here because vegansaurus is effing hilarious!!! Hippies here i come to vegan eats, kayaks, bike rides, yoga, hot tubs, a sauna, tea time, massages and facials!!! Fort bragg where tempeh was first cultured in the US and much, much more!!!!!!!!!! What a deal and a measly 3 hours from SF!!! I'm sooo effing excited they have spring specials, read the blog, bookmark vegansaurus because that shit will crack you up and dream about your new hippie vacay this weekend!!!!

Wednesday and wisdom teeth....arg...i have a wisdom tooth situation. I was supposed to get them all removed about 7 years ago but the dentist left one in and told me it would probably never come in. It was like a total nightmare getting them taken out, they had to shatter them to remove them and I was awake for the whole thing. Now that damned tooth is coming in and its KILLING ME!!! It's really hard to concentrate, think, paint, write, read anything when you mouth is throbbing...eating also a problem...been eating smoothies and soup. Why don't i just go to the dentist??? you may be thinking?? well because I don't have health insurance, I can't afford it and i'm unemployed...yeah awesome...anyway i've been trying to take it easy but i have so much work to do so i'm back...i think i can go to UCSF to get a student dentist to take care of it on a payment plan but i'm hoping it will just stop hurting soon...heh heh...a girl can dream right?
In other more pleasant news I was mentioned on the Cuteable blog yesterday!! YAY!!! Love the blog so much it's also linked to the left here in the blogs i <3 section! The blog post was actually by Maartje (or Tizz) from Tizzalicious so cool, love her blog and her work as well! Please check it out and here are some screen shots :D

Also i had the pleasure to dog sit for friends this weekend a little guy named lucas and seriously fell in love with him...so much more than i already was...omg he is sooo adorable, sooo funny, and just a little ball of love!!! It really made me realize it's time for me to have one of my own, i keep putting off because i feel like i don't have enough income but he brought such joy to my life the few days he was here, i just love animals soooo very much, they make me happy. So i'm looking, i'm going to rescue of course so it will take some time but my heart needs a dog. Here is a crappy blurry picture of him giving me kisses :D
he was a rescue and 6 months ago he would snap at people because he was so abused and so scared and love, time, hard work, training and attention made this guy turn that all around, he was a doll, so well behaved you would never know it!!! I'm proud of him and the work and love my friends have given him but how could you not right??? Sigh i've been missing him sooooo much...he went home monday!
